It works on PS3, its quicker if when you get the loading screen the person who is switching lobbies quits to main menu because sometimes it puts you back into the lobby and the glitch doesn't work.
It works on multiplayer online, you just customize all your classes in private match then when you quit out and go into multiplayer the classes are still there but you can't customize them unless you do the glitch again, you can change your clan tag color and all killstreaks are unlocked aswell.
